Volleyball Rolls to 3-0 Win at Concord

Head Coach Linda Renzi's Lady Cat volleyball team improved to 13-14 overall and 8-9 in the WVIAC with an impressive 30-15, 30-19, 30-19 sweep at conference rival Concord (WV) University, Friday night.
Junior middle hitter Kayla Lape (Fishertown, Pa.) and sophomore outside hitter Nicole Houser (Penn Run, Pa.) led the Pitt Johnstown attack with 14 and 12 kills, respectively. Freshman Taylor King (York, Pa.) collected 43 set assists, while junior Katie Shadron (Ligonier, Pa.) had a team-high nine digs in the victory.
With the loss, Concord fell to 4-24 overall and 3-14 in WVIAC play.
The Lady Cats will finish the 2007 regular season with a WVIAC match at Bluefield State (WV) College on Saturday, before traveling to Charleston, WV for the 2007 WVIAC Tournament on Thursday.
