Swope named WVIAC Men's Soccer Co-Player of the Week Again

Mountain Cat senior forward Jason Swope (Indiana, Pa.) garnered WVIAC Men's Soccer Co-Player of the Week honors for the second time this year on Monday. Swope, who scored two goals against Davis & Elkins (WV) College last Tuesday, shares this week's honor with West Virginia Wesleyan College's Brett Fackenthal.
Swope, who was also the WVIAC Co-Player of the Week on September 1, scored two of his team-leading 10 goals in the 3-1 victory over #22 Davis & Elkins. In addition, Swope notched an assist in Pitt Johnstown's 1-0 victory at Ohio Valley (WV) University on Saturday that helped the Mountain Cats climb into fourth place in the WVIAC standings.
Fackenthal scored three goals to help WVIAC-leading West Virginia Wesleyan to a 1-1-1 week against three non-conference opponents.
