Cory Winwood Tabbed WVIAC Men's Soccer Co-Player of the Week

Mountain Cat junior forward Cory Winwood (Harwick, Pa.) was named WVIAC Men's Soccer Co-Player of the Week after scoring three goals and adding an assist to help lead Pitt Johnstown to a 2-1 week. Winwood shares this week's honor with Shepherd (WV) University's Jeffers Frazier.
Winwood scored goals in matches against the University of Charleston (WV) on Tuesday, Lake Erie (OH) College on Saturday and Concord (WV) University on Sunday. Winwood also collected an assist in the Lake Erie match.
Frazier helped Shepherd extend its win streak to four straight matches with a goal and an assist in the Rams 2-0 victory against the University of the District of Columbia.
Winwood is the second Mountain Cat this season to garner WVIAC Player of the Week honors. On September 1, Jason Swope (Indiana, Pa.) shared the honor with Davis & Elkins (WV) College's James Kpainey.
