Swope Tabbed WVIAC Men's Soccer Co-Player of the Week

Pitt Johnstown senior forward Jason Swope (Indiana, Pa.) and Davis & Elkins' College's James Kpainey shared WVIAC Men's Soccer Co-Player honors when they were released on Monday. Swope and Kpainey helped lead their teams to 2-0-0 starts at the Pitt-Johnstown Kick-Off Classic over the weekend.
Swope tallied a pair of goals and an assist to lead the Mountain Cats to wins over Chestnut Hill College on Saturday and the University of the District of Columbia on Sunday. Swope, tallied Saturday's game-winning goal, before adding a goal and an assist on Sunday.
Kapainey collected a goal and a pair of assists to lead the #24-ranked Senators to victories over U.D.C. and Chestnut Hill.
