Volleyball Defeats Rams to Go 3-0 at Shepherd Tournament

Kelsey Shanabrook had a match-high 17 kills, while Marissa Erminio and Beth Kendera added 16 and 15 kills respectively to guide the Lady Cats to a 3-1 victory over Shepherd (WV) University to close out the Shepherd Tournament on Saturday with a perfect 3-0 record. Pitt-Johnstown improved to 6-1 on the year.

    Shanabrook recorded 17 kills, a block solo, three block assists and seven digs to lead the Lady Cats. Erminio chipped in 16 kills and 11 digs, and Kendera had 15 kills, a pair of block solos and two block assists.

    Allison Mondorff finished with 45 set assists and 14 digs, and Katie Svetahor had 16 digs in the victory.

    With the loss, Shepherd dropped to 3-4 on the season.
