Box Score Steve Marsh notched the Mountain Cats first goal of the season three minutes into the match, before Pitt-Johnstown collected two more second half goals to secure a 3-1 non-conference victory over Alderson Broaddus (WV), College Wednesday afternoon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer
Field.  With the win, the Mountain Cats improved to 1-3-0.

Marsh scored three minutes into the match on a long shot from outside the box to put Pitt-Johnstown in front, 1-0 at the break.

Steve Taslov increased the lead to 2-0 in the 65th minute, before the Battlers cut the deficit in half with a goal of the own.

However, Colin Michalski's header off of AJ McNary's corner kick tacked on an insurance goal and set the final at 3-1.

Tim Ofman earned the win in goal for Pitt-Johnstown, collecting four saves and only allowing one goal. Darius Aitkenhead made two saves, but surrendered all three goals for Alderson-Broaddus.

With the loss Alderson Broadus fell tp 1-4-0.

The Mountain Cats host a non-conference match against Chowan (NC) University on Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field, before traveling to california University (PA) for a PSAC match on Sunday.
