After falling behind early, the Fighting Scots scored the next eight points to go in front by six on a bucket from Laurel Lindsay, before Darche' Jackson's lay-up at 3:35 extended it to 39-25.

However, six was as close as the Lady Cats would get the rest of the way.

Valerie Majewski's bucket, followed by Lindsay's jumper four minutes into the second half pushed the Edinboro lead back out to a dozen.

Another basket from Carman cut it to seven, until Lindsay's 3-pointer at 7:22 got the Fighting Scot's lead back out to 13 at 72-59.

Pitt-Johnstown came back again to pull to within six on a lay-up from Harper with 5:03 to play, but Edinboro was able to hold on for the nine-point victory.
