Bloomsburg University raced out to a 4-0 halftime advantage, before
Matt Kinney got the Mountain Cats on the scoreboard, but the Huskies went on to defeat Pitt-Johnstown, 5-1, Saturday evening in Bloomsburg. The Mountain Cats fell to 0-5-0 overall and 0-2-0 in the PSAC.

Anthony Cerda put the Huskies up 1-0 in the eighth minute, before Roma Labuda's header off of a throw-in 10 minutes later made it 2-0.

Bloomsburg followed with goals in the 24
th and 44
th minutes to build the lead to 4-0 at the half.

Kinney's goal for Pitt-Johnstown seven minutes into the second half cut it to 4-1, but Bloomsburg quickly answered to increase it to 5-1 in the 56
th minute.

Nate Kleya took the loss in net for the Mountain Cats after allowing four goals on 11 shots in the first half. Kleya also made two saves.Â
Tim Ofman played the second half for Pitt-Johnstown and gave up one goal.

Jared Ott earned the win for Bloomsburg after not having to make a save in the first 45 minutes. Jacob Pesarcik surrendered Pitt-Johnstown's goal.

With the win, the Huskies improved to 3-1-1 overall and 2-0-0 in the PSAC
Pitt-Johnstown will host non-conference matches against Goldey-Beacom (DE) on Wednesday at 4 p.m. and Daemen (NY) on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.Â
