The Pitt-Johnstown volleyball team took advantage of 15 kills from
Kendall Mahony and 11 kills and 12 digs from
Cambria Wierman to increase their winning streak to 11 straight matches with a 26-24, 25-18, 25-14 PSAC sweep at Kutztown University, Saturday afternoon. Pitt-Johnstown raised its overall record to 15-2 and its record in the PSAC Eastern Division to a perfect 9-0.
Along with Mahony and Wierman, the Lady Cats also got eight kills from Marisssa Erminio and six kills from
Maura Brehl.
Allison Mondorff finished with a match-high 20 set assists and six digs for Pitt-Johnstown, while
Jessica Dillon collected 17 assists and six digs.Â
Brittany Saetre had 12 digs, and
Delaney Roman added 11 digs and a pair of service aces in the sweep.
Audrey Stringer and Shannon Restrepo each had eight kills, and Jessica Howe had five kills to lead the Golden Bears, who fell to 4-15 overall and 2-7 in the PSAC Eastern Division.
Pitt-Johnstown travels to a non-conference match at Alderson Broaddus (WV) College on Wednesday, before hosting a PSAC Crossover on Friday and Saturday in the Sports Center.Â
