The sixth-ranked Mountain Cat wrestlers outscored East Stroudsburg 18-0 over the final five bouts, including Tyler Oliver's decision over No. 6 Tyler Richardson at 197 lbs., to down the Warriors 33-15, Tuesday night in East Stroudsburg.  Pitt-Johnstown improved to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the PSAC.
 
Evan Link won a 16-4 major decision over Collyn Dorney at 125 lbs. to put the Mountain Cats in front to start, but the Warriors answered when Marius Kola pinned Troy Dolan at 5:12 at 133 lbs. to go in front 6-4.
 
Sam Hanau's forfeit victory at 141 lbs. gave the lead back to Pitt-Johnstown, before East Stroudsburg's Mike Raccioppi pinned Travis Shaffer at 3:47 and Joey Kratochvil won a 5-3 overtime decision over Luke Palamides to put the Warriors up 15-10 midway through the match.
 
However, it was all Pitt-Johnstown after that.  The Mountain Cats went on to shutout East Stroudsburg 18-0 the rest of the way to close out the win.
 
Eighth-ranked Tyler Reinhart (165 lbs.) got it started with a 17-2 technical fall over Josh Deutel at 5:21, and fourth-ranked wrestlers John Blankenship and Travis McKillop both won by fall.  Blankenship pinned Colin Martucci at 6:51 at 174 lbs, and McKillop followed with a first period fall over Brandon Steele at 184 lbs. to increase the lead to 27-15.
 
Pitt-Johnstown then used decision victories from Oliver and D.J. Sims to finish it out.  Oliver upset Richardson, ranked sixth in the nation at 197 lbs., 3-1, and Sims won a 6-1 decision over Tyson Searer at 285 lbs. to set the final at 33-15.
 
With the loss, East Stroudsburg fell to 1-1 overall and 0-1 in the PSAC.
 
The Mountain Cats compete in the Grappling at the Garden even in Madison Square Garden on Sunday, before traveling to the 2015 PSAC Championships on December 5 at Mercyhurst University.  Pitt-Johnstown will wrestle its next home match until January 22 when Gannon University visits the Sports Center.
