


Four Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers have been named to the 2025-26 National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division II Scholar All-America Team when this year's honorees were announced on Thursday.

This year's Mountain Cat NWCA Scholar All-Americans include: two-time All-American and three-time NWCA Scholar All-American
Trevon Gray (125 lbs.) (Marketing and Information Systems), red-shirt freshman and 2026 NCAA National Qualifier
Trent Hoover (165 lbs.) (Finance), 2026 All-American and 2025-26 PSAC Freshman of the Year
Ty Morrison (174 lbs.) (Civil Engineering), and three-time All-American and two-time NWCA Scholar All-American
Isaiah Vance (285 lbs.) (Secondary Education).

A total of 440Â student-athletes, representing 64 of the 71 Division II institutions, were honored for their success in the classroom while competing throughout the season. Leading the nation with 19 honorees was Nebraska-Kearney, followed by McKendree and Colorado Mesa with 15 selections each.
This year's class includes 167 multiple-time honorees, 51 student-athletes who maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA, and one five-time honoree in Logan Kvien of McKendree.
Award Criteria
- --All-American at the 2026Â NCAA DII National Championships and 3.00 GPA
- --National Qualifier to the 2026 NCAA DII National Championships and 3.25 GPA
- --Competed in 4 or more events and 3.5 GPA
