st minute on Brungard's first goal, before the Redhawks made it 2-0 six minutes later when Logan Wood beat Mountain Cat goalkeeper

Pitt-Johnstown cut the deficit in half after freshman
D.J. Vogelman notched his first career goal on a penalty kick, but Roberts Wesleyan increased it to 3-1 on Brungard's header with just 13 seconds remaining in the first half.

The Redhawks maintained the momentum to begin the second half. Sam Moody finished a header in the 55
th minute for the Redhawks, and Alex Loete scored in the 74
th minute to build the lead to 5-1.

Roberts Wesleyan then tacked on another goal in the 79
th minute to set the final at 6-1.

Kleya took the loss in goal for the Mountain Cats after facing 19 Redhawks' shots and allowing all six goals. Kleya also made nine saves.

Michael Scavone surrendered just one goal and made one save to earn the victory in goal for Roberts Wesleyan, which improved to 1-0-0.

The Mountain Cats travel to Daemen (NY) College for a non-conference match on Monday, before opening PSAC-play at East Stroudsburg University on Friday. Pitt-Johnstown will play its next home match on September 19 at 1 p.m. against Wheeling Jesuit (WV) University.Â
