Colin Michalski's penalty kick goal tied it at one, but Lock Haven scored three goals in a span of four minutes to end the first half and start the second half to deal the Mountain Cat soccer team a 6-1 PSAC road loss on Saturday. Pitt-Johnstown fell to 3-8-0 overall and 1-6-0 in conference-play.

Lock Haven jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the fifth minute on Brian Flatter's goal off of Zach Hommey's give-and-go pass in the box, bur Pitt-Johnstown came back to tie it in the 22
nd minute on Michalski's penalty kick goal.

The Bald Eagles got their own penalty kick goal from Troy Amspacher with just 20 seconds remaining in the first half to retake the lead.

Lock Haven broke it open with two more goals in the first three minutes of the second half. Another goal by Lock haven, Tyler Weikert scored off of Flatter's assist at the 47-minute mark and just over a minute later, Flatter set up Tyler Shumaker to increase it to 4-1.

Amspacher netted his second goal of the day when he finished a rebound off of Ben Wilson's shot that hit the post in the 57
th minute, before Wilson's goal with seven minute to play set the final at 6-1.

Nate Kleya faced 16 Lock haven shots, made seven saves, but allowed all six goals in the loss. The Bald Eagles, who improved to 5-6-1 overall and 3-4-0 in the PSAC, got the shutout in goal from Troy Teresak. Teresak saw five shots from the Mountain Cats and didn't have to make a save.

Pitt-Johnstown returns home from a stretch of seven straight road matches, to host a non-conference match against Daemen (NY) on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. and a PSAC match against Bloomsburg on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
