For the second straight week, a Mountain Cats has earned PSAC West Men's Basketball Freshman of the Week honors.  On Monday, the conference office selected guard Jared Jakubick as the Western Division's Freshman of the Week after averaging 15.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.0 steals in a pair of Pitt-Johnstown games.  Jakubick also connected on 6-of-10 from behind the 3-point line.

In Friday's triple overtime loss to Le Moyne (NY) College to open the IUP Thanksgiving Classic, Jakubick scored 15 on 5-of-7 shooting, 3-of-4 from 3-point range and 2-of-2 from the free-throw line.  He also had three rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Jakubick, a native of Akron, Ohio, followed that up with 15 points on 6-of-13 shooting from the field and 3-of-6 from behind the arc in Pitt-Johnstown's 82-54 victory ov the University of the Sciences in the Second Round of the IUP Thanksgiving Classic.  Jakubick grabbed four rebounds, dished out three assists and made two more.

On November 19, Pitt-Johnstown's John Paul Kromka was named the PSAC West Freshman of the Week.
