Johnstown, PA

Head Coach Eric Kinsey's Mountain Cat soccer team returns home to host a non-conference match against Washington Adventist (MD) University on Tuesday.  Kick-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.

Pitt-Johnstown is 1-3-0 after a 4-0 loss at Roberts Wesleyan (NY) on Saturday. Pitt-Johnstown got nine saves from Jonathan Reboton.  The Mountain Cats also suffered narrowed 1-0 losses to Wheeling (WV) on September 14 and Shepherd (WV) last Tuesday.

Second-year Head Coach Alex Sandoval and his Washington Adventist Shock are 4-1-0 following a 6-2 win at Carlow on Saturday.  Jose Melendez scored two goals for the Shock.

Last season, Pitt-Johnstown visited Takoma Park, MD on September 28 and got a pair of goals from D.J. Vogelman, but the Shock broke a 2-2 tie on Jose Paniagua's goal in the 56th minute and earned a 3-2 win.

The Mountain Cats open PSAC-play at California (PA) on Saturday, before hosting a conference match against Mercyhurst on October 6 at noon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
