Ken Azzarello won the 800-Meter Run to lead a group of five Mountain Cat men's track and field athletes who placed at Sunday's 2021 Indiana (PA) Ed Frye Invitational.
Azzarello won the 800-Meter run with a time of 1:57.45, while
Michael Hanik and
David Soltesz placed fifth and sixth in the 10,000-Meter Runs with times of 36:09.28 and 38:16.29, respectively. Pitt-Johnstown also got a seventh-place showing from
Tyler Spaid in the 400-Meter Hurdles at 59.73 and a runner-up finish from the 4x400-Meter Relay Team comprised of Spaid, Andrew Jeffery, Azzarello, and
Logan Williams.
In the field events,
Hunter Lindsay placed fifth in the Javelin at 161'8".
Pitt-Johnstown travels to the Slippery Rock "Multi Open" on Thursday and Friday and to the 2021 Slippery Rock Invitational on April 22.
