

Domenion Jacobs claimed medalist honors in the 400-Meter Hurdles for the second straight week, while
Ryan Porch won the Long Jump,
Ellie Zuro-Cirino placed third in the third in the 400-Meter Hurdles, and
Ava Barker was third in the 3,000 Steeple to guide the Pitt-Johnstown men's and women's track and field teams at Friday's Ohio University Cherry Blossom Invitational in Athens, Ohio.
Jacobs claimed top honors in the 400-Meter Hurdles with a time of 53.07, and teammate Nathaniel Tomas was eighth in the event at 59.79.
Porch took home top honors in in Long Jump at 6.71 Meter and
Isaiah Dyer was eighth at 5.69 Meters.
The Mountain Cats also got a sixth-place finish from
Gavin Smith in the 3,000-Meter Run (10:39.15), and 10
th and 12
th-place finishes, respectively from
Damian Blum (51.17) and
Sebastian Roman (51.51) in the 400-Meter Run.
Pitt-Johnstown's 4x100-Meter Relay Team of
Anthony Dicesaro, Roman,
Austin Yarnick, and
Daniel Presto placed fifth at 43.63, and the 4x400-Meter Relay Team of Jacobs, Yarnick, Roman, and Blum, finished fourth at 3:27.34.
In the field events,
Troy Slater placed fifth in the Shot Put at 12.31 Meters and 10
th in the Discus ay 38.42 meters, and
Logan Ilnicki was seventh in the Discus at 40.38 meters.
On the Women's side, Zuro-Cirino was third in the 400-Meter Hurdles at 1:05.04, and Barker placed third in the 3,000 Steeple at 13:07.94
Pitt-Johnstown's
Aubree Lorenzo came away with a ninth-place finish in the 400-Meter Run (1:01.38), while
Sydney Dunn was 10
th in the 5,000-Meter Run (20:14.35), and
Ava Menzies was 13
th in the 200-Meter Dash at 26:33.
The 4x100-Meter Relay Team of
Rihanna Hillegas, Menzies,
Paris Etchu, and Zuro-Cirino was sixth at 50.20, and the 4x400-Meter Relay Team of Hillegas, Barker, Lorenzo, and Zuro-Cirino came away with a sixth-place finish with a time of 4:27.98.
Pitt-Johnstown will travel to the Akron University Northeast Ohio Open on Thursday and Friday and to the Slippery Rock John Papa Invitational on April 16.
