

The Pitt-Johnstown men's track team had an impressive showing at Thursday and Friday's 2021 Slippery Rock Mike Kowal Meet that included
Ryan Karlheim's third-place finish in the Decathlon, and
Hunter Lindsay's third-place finish in the Javelin.
Karlheim collected 5,444 total points to place third in the Decathlon, while Lindsay finished third in the Javelin at 175"9'.
In addition,
Daniel Heller (53.04) and
Ken Azzarello (53.25) placed fifth and sixth, respectively in the 400-Meter Run, and
Tyler Spaid finished fifth in the 400-Meter Hurdles (59.64.)
Luke Cimakasky placed sixth in the 1,500-Meter Run at 4:15.24, and
Michael Hanik was eight in the Steeple at 11:04.24.
The Mountain Cats also got a seventh-place finish from
Clay Engle in the Triple Jump (41"4/.5").
Pitt-Johnstown's relay teams also placed. The 4X100-Meter Relay Team of
Andrew Jeffrey, Spaid, Heller, and
Logan Williams placed fourth at 45.20, and the 4X400-Meter Relay Team of Spaid,
Evan Frye,
Joseph Dang, and Cimakasky finished seventh at 3:35.76.
Pitt-Johnstown travels to the Slippery Rock Invitational on Thursday and to the Shippensburg Paul Keiser Invitational on April 25.
