
After striking out a career-high 15 hitters in Friday's PSAC complete-game, shutout victory over Slippery Rock, Pitt-Johnstown senior right-hander
Dylan Heid was selected as the PSAC Western Division Pitcher of the Week for the fifth time this season when the conference office announced this week's awards on Monday.
Heid, who improved to 6-1 on the season, tossed seven shutout innings to open the PSAC Western Division series against the Rock at Sargent's Stadium at the Point. Heid scattered six hits, five singles and a double, struck out a career-high 15 and did not allow a walk.
Heid was previously named the PSAC Western Division Pitcher of the week on March 8, March 15, on April 5, and the Co-Pitcher of the Week on April 12.
