

Pitt-Johnstown came away with eight individual place-winners and an eight-place showing from the 4x400-Meter Relay Team at Saturday's 2021 Slippery Rock University Dave Labor Men's Outdoor Track and Field Invitational.
In the running events,
Ken Azzarello finished fourth in the 800-Meter Run at 1:56.66, while teammate
Michael Hanik placed fourth in the Steeple Chase with a time of 11:03.7.
In addition,
Tyler Spaid was fifth in the 400-Meter Hurdles at 59.59, and
Luke Cimakasky was eighth in the 5,000-Meter Run.


The Mountain Cat 4x400-Meter Relay Team composed of Spaid,
Ryan Karlheim, Azzarello, and Spaid finished eight at 3:32.76.
In the field events,
Cole Weist and
Hunter Lindsay both placed in the Javelin. Weist finished third at 166'6" and Lindsay was fourth at 165'4".Â
Chris Colligan was fourth in the High Jump at 6'1.25", and
Clay Engle was sixth in the Triple Jump at 41'5.75".
The Mountain Cats travel to the 2021 Indiana (PA) Invitational on Sunday and to the 2021 Slippery Rock "Multi" Open on April 15.
