Head Coach Eric Kinsey's Mountain Cat men's soccer team will open-up PSAC Western Division-play with a home match against California (PA) on Saturday. Kick-off is scheduled for noon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
Pitt-Johnstown comes in at 1-3-1 overall following a 1-1, double overtime draw with D'Youville (NY) in Tuesday's 2021 home-opener.
Alexzander Toto scored the Mountain Cats' goal off of assists from
Adan Cabrera-Perez and
Mitch Snowden, while
Sage Parsley faced 16 shots and made five saves in net to help preserve the draw.
California (PA), under ninth-year
Head Coach Emedin Sabic, also begins PSAC-play on Saturday. The Vulcans slipped to 0-4-1 after last Saturday's 6-0 loss at Davis & Elkins (WV) and a 4-1 home loss to Ohio Dominican on September 11.
The Mountain Cats host a non-conference match against Lock Haven on Tuesday at 4 p.m., before traveling to a PSAC Western Division match at Mercyhurst next Saturday.
