Head Coach Vito Addalli and the Pitt-Johnstown women's soccer team will make their 2021 home debut with a non-conference match against Mansfield University, Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.

Mountain Cats kicked-off the 2021 season with a 2-1 non-conference setback at Lock Haven on Thursday.  Katelyn Rudy scored off of an assist from Haley Neidig to give Pitt-Johnstown a 1-0 first half lead, but the Bald Eagles answered with a pair of goals in the first nine minutes of the second half to secure the win.

Mansfield, under third-year Coach John Shaffer, kick-off the 2021 season Sunday afternoon.  Prior the COVID-19 canceling the 2020 season, the Mounties last played in 2019 and closed out the year at 1-17-0.

Mansfield holds a 5-2-1 advantage in a series that dates back to the 2005 season. In the last meeting on September 1, 2018, Kaitlyn Eckley's goal one minute into overtime gave the Mountain Cats a 2-1 victory.

The Mountain Cats open PSAC West play with a match against Gannon on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field, before traveling to Slippery Rock for a conference match on Saturday.
