After Millersville opened the second half with a three to make it a 3-point game, the Mountain Cats went on a game-defining 17-5 run that spanned more than 11 minutes and allowed them to take their largest lead of the game at 57-42.
From that point, Pitt-Johnstown firmly maintained a double-digit lead over the final nine minutes.
The Mountain Cats dominated inside, outscoring the Marauders in the paint 40-26.
Leading just 24-22 in the first half, Caiden Landis, who was a perfect 5 of 5 from the field, scored five of his 11 points during a 8-1 run to give Pitt-Johnstown a 32-23 advantage with 5:34 to play.
Millersville's 10-4 run cut Pitt-Johnstown's lead to 36-33, but the Mountain Cats weathered the storm and went into the break with a 40-35 lead.
Pitt-Johnstown shot an efficient 69.2% (18 of 26) in the first half as a team.
Matt Dade scored a team-high 15 points and grabbed seven boards for the Marauders, who suffered their first conference loss of the season and fell to 6-4 (3-1 PSAC).
