Prior to the match, Pitt-Johnstown recognized this year's six senior wrestlers…three-time NCAA All-American Brock Biddle (174 lbs.), 2021 NCAA National Qualifier Matt Siszka (125 lbs.), and two-year lettermen Bryce Biddle (197 lbs.), Dalton Group (184 lbs.), Al Miscovich (141 lbs.), and Emorson Wentz (197 lbs.).

The Mountain Cats and Marauders started with the 184-lb. weight class.  Pitt-Johnstown's Alex Weber opened with an 12-5 win, before Dakoda Rodgers pinned Danny Periera at 4:56 in the 197-lb. bout and Oggie Atwood won by fall over Jordan Espinosa at 6:47 in the 285-lb. bout to give Pitt-Johnstown a 15-0 lead.

After Siszka made his Senior Night a good one by downing Bryce Beatty, 12-5, at 125 lbs., Millersville got on the scoreboard when Devin Flannery pinned Dajauhn Hertzog in the 133-lb. bout to make it 18-6.

However, that was as close as it would get.  The Mountain Cats went on to win the final five straight matches.  At 133 lbs., Caleb Morris shut out Tim Uhler, 4-0, and sixth-ranked Jacob Ealy scored a 14-2 major decision at 149 lbs. over Elikah Tuckey.

A 15-4 four major decision from 11th-ranked Nate Smith at 157 lbs., and eighth-ranked Dillon Keane's, 3-2, win over Brandon Connor at 165 lbs. increased it to 32-6 with one bout remaining.

Brock Biddle then closed out the match with his ninth technical win of the season.  Biddle, ranked third nationally in technical falls, picked up his ninth tech fall with an 18-2 win at 2:39 over Guy DeLeonardis.

With the loss, Millersville slipped to 4-6 overall and 1-4 in the PSAC.

Pitt-Johnstown will wrap-up the 2021-22 dual meet season with PSAC road matches at No. 6 Gannon on February 11 and at 19th-ranked Mercyhurst on February 12, before hosting the 2022 NCAA Division II Super Region I Wrestling Tournament in the Sports Center on February 26.
