The Pitt-Johnstown baseball team will kick-off PSAC West-Play with a doubleheader against 17th-ranked Seton Hill, Thursday afternoon at Point Stadium.  Game one is scheduled for 3 p.m.

This doubleheader was originally scheduled for Saturday, but was moved up to Thursday due to weather concerns.

Coach Todd Williams' Pitt-Johnstown squad comes in at 10-6-1 after taking three-out-of-four from Salem (WV) last weekend.  The Mountain Cats used an Asher Corl two-run homer to erase a one-run deficit and Lennox Pugh's walk-off base hit to win the opener, 4-3, before taking game two 10-5 last Saturday at Point Stadium.  After dropping Sunday's first game at Salem, 6-5 in eight innings, Dylan Broderick connected for a seventh inning, pinch-hit grand slam to lift the Mountain Cats to a 9-5 win in the nightcap.

Seton Hill, ranked 17th in this week's NCBWA National Poll under 19th-year Head Coach Marc Marizzaldi, is unbeaten in its last six games and come in at 11-4-1.  The Griffins swept a three-game series from Le Moyne (NY) last weekend with 2-0, 9-6, and 8-2 victories.

Last season, Seton Hill swept the four-game series against the Mountain Cats.  The Griffins earned a pair of wins at Point Stadium on May 7, before completing the sweep with 11-1 and 10-3 wins in Greensburg on May 8.

Pitt-Johnstown opens a four-game PSAC West series with a doubleheader at Clarion on Friday, before completing the series with a pair of games at Point Stadium next Saturday starting at 1 p.m.  The Mountain will then host a non-conference game against Bloomsburg on April 5 at 1 p.m.
