The Pitt-Johnstown baseball team returns home to host a non-conference, nine-inning game against Shippensburg on Tuesday starting at 3 p.m. at Johnstown's Point Stadium.
Head Coach Todd Williams and the Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cats, 14-15-1 overall, are coming off of a four-game PSAC series with Mercyhrust. After suffering a 16-8 loss in Friday's opener at Point Stadium,
Taylor Squiric struck out 12 in five innings, and Pitt-Johnstown rallied for a 4-3 walk-off win in the nightcap. Mercyhurst then secured 7-2 and 1-0 victories in Erie on Saturday.Â
Wil Fetrow suffered the tough loss in game two after limiting the Lakers to just run, while striking out nine over the first six innings.

th-ranked Millersville over the weekend. The Raiders took Friday's opener, 3-2, on
Joe Barbera's walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the ninth, but the Marauders answered with 9-0 and 9-3 wins in Millersville on Saturday.
In the last meeting between Pitt-Johnstown and Shippensburg on March 10, 2020, the Mountain Cats came away with an 18-9 road victory in Shippensburg.Â
Isaiah Kearns belted a three-run homer and drove in four,
Jake Ansell had four RBI, and
Lennox Pugh went 3-for-5 with two RBI for the Mountain Cats. Barbera collected three hits, while
Zack Zoller and
Jacob Pollock had two RBI each for the Raiders.
Pitt-Johnstown visits IUP for a pair of PSAC Western Division games on Friday, before returning home to conclude to four-game series with a doubleheader at Point Stadium on Saturday at 1 p.m.
