The Pitt-Johnstown baseball team will close out it's four-game home-and-home PSAC Western Division series against Indiana (PA) with a pair of games Saturday afternoon at Point Stadium. Game one of the doubleheader is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.

Prior to Friday's series-opening doubleheader at Indiana (PA),
Head Coach Todd Williams' Mountain Cats were 15-15-1 overall and 3-9 in the PSAC West.  Pitt-Johnstown is coming off of a 7-6 non-conference win over Shippensburg on Tuesday.
Colin Pasone's seventh-inning two-run home run put the Mountain Cats on top for good. Last weekend, the Mountain Cats split two games against Mercyhurst at Point Stadium on Friday, before suffering 7-2 and 1-0 losses in Erie on Saturday.

IUP, under first-year
Head Coach Steve Kline, was 15-15 overall and 6-6 in conference-play prior to Friday's games. The Crimson Hawks earned a 9-7 non-conference win over West Liberty (WV) on Wednesday behind homers from
Markus Cestra,
Colton Burd, and
Jake Cherry. IUP also dropped three-of-four games to California (PA) in a PSAC series that was wrapped-up on Tuesday.

Last season, the Mountain Cats took three-of-four PSAC games from the Crimson Hawks. On April 9 in Johnstown, Pitt-Johnstown swept IUP.Â
Dylan Heid tossed a two-hit shutout in a 14-0 win in game one, before the Mountain Cats used a 10-run second inning to complete the sweep with a 10-6 win in the nightcap. The next day in Indiana, the Crimson Hawks took game one, 11-2, before Pitt-Johnstown responded with a 3-1 victory in game 2.

Pitt-Johnstown travels to Shippensburg of a non-conference game on Tuesday, before for a pair of PSAC Western Division games on Friday, before returning home to begin a four-game PSAC Western Division series against California (PA), Friday at 1 p.m. at Point Stadium.
