The Pitt-Johnstown baseball will wrap-up its PSAC Western Division series against 18
th-ranked Slippery Rock University with a pair of games, Saturday afternoon at Point Stadium. Games times are scheduled for 1 and 3 p.m.

Prior to opening the PSAC West series at Slippery Rock on Friday,
Head Coach Todd Williams' Mountain Cats were 16-22-1 overall and 4-16 in conference-play. the Mountain Cats dropped three-of-four to California (PA) last weekend. Last Friday at Point Stadium, the Vulcans earned a 1-0 win in eight innings and a 9-4 victory. Pitt-Johnstown answered with a 3-2 win behind
Ben Briggs' complete-game in Saturday's opener in Washington, Pa., but Cal U took the finale, 5-1.

Head Coach Jeff Messer, was 28-9 overall and 13-7 in the PSAC West entering Friday's games in Slippery Rock.Â

Koby Bubash all homered in a 17-9 non-conference win over Lock Haven on Tuesday. The Rock also swept a four-game conference series from Clarion last weekend.

Last season, the Mountain Cats and Rock split a four-game series. Pitt-Johnstown swept a pair of games in Johnstown, 4-0 and 5-2, on April 23.Â
Dylan Heid struck out 15 in game one for the Mountain Cats. Slippery Rock bounced back with 2-1 and 9-6 victories in Slippery Rock the next day.

Pitt-Johnstown goes to Bloomsburg for a non-conference game on Tuesday, before closing out the 2022 season with a four-game PSAC series against Gannon next weekend at Point Stadium. The Mountain Cats will celebrate Senior Day on Friday, the wrap-up the series on Saturday. Both home doubleheaders are scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
