
The 2022 Slippery Rock University Dave Labor Invitational was the host of a very well-rounded meet for the Mountain Cats on and off the track.

On the track, Andrew Jeffrey placed eleventh in the 100-meter dash. His time of 11.21 places him at second all-time in the history of the Mountain Cat track and field program.
Michael Hanik earned first place in the 10,000-meter run with his time of 35:29.18.Â

Pitt-Johnstown also had success in jumping events with
Chris Colligan and Clayton Engle both surpassing the qualifying marks for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championship meet at the end of the season. Colligan tied for sixth in the high jump with a best mark of 1.85-meters. Engle placed third in the triple jump. His top jump on the day was 13.52-meters.

Other Mountain Cat finishers included
Cristian Thornton and
Logan Williams placing fourth and fifth in the 400-meter dash. Both men's listed time was 51.29 seconds.
Charlie Levander placed sixth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 58.11 seconds.
Tyler Spaid finished just behind Levander his time of time of 58.20 seconds earning him sixth place.
Hunter Lindsay placed eighthin the javelin with his throw of 50.33-meters.Â

Pitt-Johnstown will travel to Indiana University (PA) on Saturday, April 9th to take part in the 2022 Ed Fry Invitational. The Mountain Cats will go back to Slippery Rock, PA for the Slippery Rock University Invitational on Thursday, April 21st.Â
