Pitt-Johnstown's Justin Scally was selected the PSAC Men's Golf Freshman of the Year and was named Second-Team All-PSAC when this year's awards as voted on by the league's coaches were announced on Wednesday.
 
Scally, a native of Moon Township, Pa. finished his freshman year with a 77.1 scoring average and a tie for 10^th-place at the 2021 PSAC Championships in Hershey.  Scally played his best golf of the season at the PSAC Championships, posting his low round score of 72 (+1) and his low tournament score of 224 (72, 76, 76).
 
The Moon Area High School graduate also tied for 16^th at the Davis & Elkins (WV) College Invitational, finished 17^th at the West Chester University Dr. Edwin Cottrell Invitational, and tied for 40^th t the 2022 Atlantic/East Regional Tournament.

Gannon claimed the remaining major awards.  Connor Bennink was tabbed the PSAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Year and Dustin Coleman was named the PSAC Men's Golf Coach of the Year.
