Cristian Thornton won the 200-Meter Dash at this weekend's Susquehanna Early Season Indoor Invitational and Multi in Selinsgrove to lead of group of 12 Mountain Cats who placed in the top-seven in another strong showing from the Pitt-Johnstown men's track and field team.

Thornton's time of 23.00 in the 200-Meter Dash earned him the individual top-spot, while four other Pitt-Johnstown athletes came away with runner-up finishes.

In the track events,
Michael Ifidon finished second in the 60-meter Dash (7.12),
Luke Cimakasky was the runner-up in the Mile Run (4:30.21), and
Domenion Jacobs and
Marcello Legister finished second and fifth, respectively in the 60-Meter Hurdles at 8.46 and 9.08.

Pitt-Johnstown also had three runners place in the 400-Meter Run. Jacobs was third (52.10), Thornton was fourth (52.57), and
Noah Lee was sixth (53.36).

In the field events,
Bridger Blankenbicker placed second in the Pole Vault at 13'1.5" to give Pitt-Johnstown its fourth runner-up finish of the day.

The Mountain Cats also got a fourth-place finish in the Triple Jump (20'7.5") from
Seville Louissant, a sixth-place finish from
Nicholas DeMatteis in the Shot Put (43'9.75"), and a seventh-place finish from Louissant in the Long Jump (20'7.5").

After Breaking for the Holidays, Pitt-Johnstown will continue its Indoor season at the Youngstown State (OH) University Invitational on Jan. 9.
