SLIPPPERY ROCK, Pa. — The Pitt-Johnstown men's and women's track and field teams competed in Slippery Rock's John Papa Invitational on Thursday at the William C. Lennox Track.
Domenion Jacobs once again shined for the Mountain Cats on the men's side by winning the 400 hurdles with a time of 53.69 seconds.
He, along with Tyler Harold, Sebastian Roman, Damian Blum, also captured first in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:20.24.
As for the field events, Ryan Porch leapt to third place in the long jump with a mark of 7.07 meters. Isaiah Dyer also competed in that event and finished 11th at 6.35 meters.
Noah Ser recorded a mark of 1.85 meters to finish sixth in the high jump.
Meanwhile, Ellie Zuro Cirino took fourth out of 23 competitors in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.12 seconds to lead the women's team.
Zuro Cirino was also eighth in the high jump with a mark of 1.55 meters and 14th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:29.11.
Ava Menzies grabbed fifth in the 200-meter run with a time of 26.40 seconds.
Both teams will compete at Shippensburg's Paul Kaiser Classic on April 24-25.
