GANNON:   SCHEDULE     |     ROSTER     |     STATS

After Saturday's games were postponed due to weather, Head Coach Todd Williams and the Pitt-Johnstown baseball team are scheduled to conclude a four-game PSAC Western Division series against Gannon, Sunday afternoon at Johnstown's Point Stadium.  Game one of the doubleheader is set for 1 p.m.

Prior to Friday's scheduled PSAC West-opener at Gannon, Pitt-Johnstown was 6-11 after dropping a four-game series against 13th-ranked East Stroudsburg last week. The Mountain Cats suffered 13-2 and 3-1 losses last Thursday, before the Warriors secured 9-3 and 9-5 wins last Friday.

Gannon, under second-year Head Coach DJ Cannon, also opened PSAC West action against the Mountain Cats.  The Golden Knights, 5-8 prior to Friday's games, are coming off of a 7-4 non-conference loss to D'Youville (NY) on Tuesday.  Jared Bielanin had two hits and drove in three and Ian Hess had three hits and scored a pair of runs for Gannon.

Last season, the Golden Knights took 3-of-4 from the Mountain Cats.  On May 5, Gannon earned 5-3 and 2-1 wins.  Three days later, Dylan Broderick's RBI double in the top of the 10th scored Justin Turcovski to lead Pitt-Johnstown to a 5-4 victory.  The Golden Knights took the series finale, 6-5, in eight innings.

Pitt-Johnstown will host a PSAC doubleheader against Seton Hill on Friday at 1 p.m. at Point Stadium, before concluding the our-game conference series with the Griffins next Saturday in Greensburg.
