The Mountain Cat baseball team will host a midweek, nonconference game against Shippensburg, Tuesday afternoon starting at 1 p.m. at Point Stadium.
 
Head Coach Todd Williams' and the Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cats enter Tuesday's non-conference game with Shippensburg at 13-23 after suffering losses to Mercyhurst in 3-of-the-4 PSAC West games over the weekend.  After dropping Friday's opener in Erie, Dylan Broderick belted a three-run homer and Austin Hammerle pitched three scoreless in relief to led Pitt-Johnstown to a 5-2 win in game two.  On Saturday, the Lakers earned 10-6 and 3-0 wins in Johnstown.
 
Head Coach Matt Jones' (17^th-year) Shippensburg Red Raiders come in at 19-21 after dropping a three-game PSAC Eastern Division series to Millersville over the weekend, and 7-5 non-conference decision to Indiana (PA) last Tuesday.
 
Pitt-Johnstown and Shippensburg met in Shippensburg on April 4 and the Mountain Cats came away with a 3-1 victory.  Garrett Prosper drove in a pair, Asher Corl had an RBI double, and Josh Ulery collected two hits for Pitt-Johnstown.
 
Pitt-Johnstown will begin a four-game PSAC West series with a doubleheader against Indiana (PA) on Friday at 1 p.m. at Point Stadium, before closing out the series with a pair of games in Indiana on Saturday.
