Head Coach Todd Williams and the Pitt-Johnstown baseball program will celebrate Senior Day and recognize seven seniors between games of Saturday's PSAC West doubleheader against California (PA) at Point Stadium. Game one is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Pitt-Johnstown was 14-27 overall and 7-13 in the PSAC West prior to Friday's scheduled doubleheader at California (PA). The Mountain Cats split two conference games against Indiana (PA) last Friday. The Crimson Hawks took the opener, 6-1, before Pitt-Johnstown scored nine runs in the bottom of the sixth to take the nightcap, 9-5. IUP went on to sweep the Mountain Cats, 18-5 and 11-3 last Saturday in Indiana.

Coach Mike Conte's (27
th year), California (PA) Vulcans were 21-18 overall and 8-12 in the PSAC West before Friday scheduled games against the Mountain Cats. The Vulcans are coming off of a 4-3 victory over Salem (WV) on Tuesday, and 14-1 win at Frostburg State (MD) on Wednesday. California (PA) also lost 3-of-4 conference games to Mercyhurst last weekend.

Last year, the Vulcans earned a 1-0 win in eight innings and a 9-4 victory at Point Stadium on April 22. The following day in Washington, Pa., Pitt-Johnstown took the opener, 3-2, before the Vulcans won the series finale, 5-1.

Pitt-Johnstown visits Bloomsburg for a non-conference game on Tuesday, before closing out the regular season with a four-game PSAC West series against Slippery Rock next weekend.
