Volleyball Picked to Finish Seventh in PSAC West Preseason Coaches' Poll

Justin Haupt, set to begin his second stint as head coach of the Pitt-Johnstown volleyball program, and the Mountain Cats have been selected to finish seventh in the PSAC Western Division when the league released its 2023 Coaches' Preseason Poll on Thursday.

In the PSAC Western Division, Gannon received seven of the nine first-place votes and is picked to win the division, while Clarion garnered a pair of first-place votes.  East Stroudsburg sit atop of the PSAC Eastern Division Poll with four first-place votes.  Shepherd and Shippensburg each earned two first-place votes from the coaches.

Pitt-Johnstown will tip-off the 2023 season at the Frostburg State (MD) Tournament on Sept. 1-2.  The Mountain Cats will open PSAC West-play and make their home debut when Seton Hill visits the Sports Center on Sept. 22.
