Head Coach Jenny Pruett and the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals are 2-1 following Friday's, 52-47, home win over Hillsdale (MI).
Aleshia Jones collected game-highs of 21 points and 11 rebounds, and
Megan McCalla added 18 points and eight rebounds for the Cardinals.
In the only other meeting between Pitt-Johnstown and Saginaw Valley State, the Cardinals earned an 80-57 home win over the Mountain Cats Nov. 20, 2023.
Peyton Alazaus scored a game-high 18 points, and
Hayden Taylor added 14 points to lead Pitt-Johnstown.

Emma Dziezgowski scored 14 points apiece to pace four Saginaw Valley State players who scored in double figures.
Pitt-Johnstown will tip-off PSAC Crossover-play at home as part of doubleheaders with the men's team in the Sports Center against Lock Haven on Friday at 3 p.m. and Mansfield on Saturday at 1 p.m.
