FULL RESULTS
Two individual distance runners earned a place in the upcoming 2024 PSAC Championships when the Pitt-Johnstown men's track and field team competed in the Spire Indoor Games in Geneva, Ohio on Saturday.
Senior Luke Cimakasky enjoyed a 17th place mark out of a field of 87 competitors in the 1-mile run with a time of 4:23.44 to qualify. Meanwhile, junior Noah Lee finished the 800-meter run in 1:57.58 to check in at 27th in a loaded field that included 91 participants.
Sophomore distance runner Brandt Paterson also had a productive day after clocking in with a time of 9:51.92 in the morning session of the 3000-meter run. Hunter Johnson made the finals in the long jump before taking home eighth place with a 6.65-meters performance.
The team will conclude the indoor season at the 2024 PSAC Indoor Track and Field Championships that are set for Feb. 18 and 19 at Lehigh University in Bethlehem.
