Sophomore athlete Noah Ser placed eighth out of 15 competitors in the high jump event to highlight the efforts of the Pitt-Johnstown men's track and field team at the 2024 PSAC Indoor Championships on Sunday and Monday at Lehigh University in Bethlehem.
The distance medley team composed of Aiden Lechleitner, Damian Blum, Noah Lee and Luke Cimakasky also picked up a point after finishing eighth out of 11 teams in an event that took place on Sunday afternoon.
Pitt-Johnstown finished 11th out of 12 teams. Shippensburg racked up 182 total points to handily win its 14th straight men's indoor team championship. That easily outpaced Slippery Rock, which placed second with 117.5 points.
The championships brought an end to the indoor season. The Mountain Cats will begin preparations for the outdoor season that begins in a month and kicks off with the West Virginia Stan Romanoski Open that is set for March 22 and 23 in Morgantown, West Virginia.
