Pitt-Johnstown swept all three major PSAC post-season wrestling awards and seven Mountain Cats earned spots on all-conference teams, including four first-team selections, when this year honors were released by the league office on Thursday.  All-PSAC Wrestling Teams were voted on by the league's coaches.
 
Head Coach Pat Pecora was named the PSAC Coach of the Year for the fourth consecutive season, while 2024 NCAA National Champion Jacob Ealy (149 lbs.) was the Athlete of the Year, and 2024 National Qualifier Cooper Warshel (157 lbs.) garnered Freshman of the Year honors.
 
2024 All-American and two-time First-Team All-PSAC choice Trevon Gray (125 lbs.), three-time First-Team All-PSAC member Ealy, and 2024 All-Americans Dakoda Rodgers (197 lbs.) and Isaiah Vance (285 lbs.) were all named First-Team All-PSAC, while 2024 National Qualifiers Mason Myers (141 lbs.) and Warshel earned spots on the second team.
 
In addition, 2023 NCAA National Qualifier Byron Daubert (133 lbs.) was named to the third team to round out the seven Mountain Cats on All-PSAC teams.
 
Pecora, also the Super Region I Coach of the Year and the recipient of the 2023-24 Bob Bubb Excellence in Wrestling Award, led his Mountain Cats to a 15-2 dual meet record, including a perfect 7-0 in PSAC matches.   Pitt-Johnstown claimed its eighth consecutive PSAC Championship and placed sixth at the national tournament in Wichita, Kan. with six national qualifiers, including a national champion and three other All-Americans.
 
Ealy, a five-time NCAA National Qualifier, four-time NCAA All-American, and four-time Super Region I champion, posted a 31-2 overall record and became Pitt-Johnstown's 15^th individual national champion with his 12-7 decision over Colorado School of Mines' Cody Thompson in the national title bout at 149 lbs.
 
After red-shirting in 2022-23, Warshel joined the Mountain Cats starting line-up in 2024 and went 21-7.  Warshel claimed his first Super Region I Championship and made his first appearance in the NCAA Division II National Tournament.
