The Pitt-Johnstown baseball team returns home to celebrate Senior Day with a PSAC Western Division doubleheader against Indiana (PA), Saturday at 1 p.m. at Point Stadium.

Prior to Friday's games, Pitt-Johnstown, 15-25 overall and 5-15 in the PSAC West, dropped three-of-four to Mercyhurst last weekend. Led by National Pitcher of the Week
Rodney Shultz, the Mountain Cats took the opener, 1-0 in Erie on Saturday. Shultz tossed a no-hitter and faced just one batter over the minimum. He struck out eight and walked just one. The Lakers bounced back to win the next three games.

Coach Steve Kline's (3
rd year), IUP Crimson Hawks sat atop the PSAC West standings at 25-10 overall and 14-6 in conference-play. IUP made it seven straight wins after a 16-12 non-conference win at Wheeling (WV) on Tuesday and a four-game PSAC West sweep over California (PA) last weekend.
Pitt-Johnstown visits Bloomsburg for a non-conference game on Tuesday, before closing out the regular season with a four-game PSAC West series against California (PA). The Mountain Cats will host a doubleheader against the Vulcans on Thursday, before traveling to Washington, Pa. to conclude the series on Friday.
