Men's and Women's Track and Field Set for This Weekend's 2024 PSAC Outdoor Championships

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS    |     2024 QUALIFIERS/HEAT SHEETS

Fifteen Pitt-Johnstown men have qualified in a total of 20 events, and eight women have qualified in 18 events for this weekend's 2024 PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Shippensburg University's Seth Grove Stadium.  Competition will begin on Friday at 10:30 AM and culminate with a 2024 men's and women's PSAC champion on Sunday.

Championship Admission Fees (Day Passes Only): Buyer pays ticket fees
Free Admission for all on Friday
Adult Day Pass (Sat/Sun): $10
Student K-12 Day Pass (Sat/Sun): $5
Free admission for students from member institutions with valid I.D
No Complimentary Tickets
PSAC Passes Honored
Tickets can only be purchased via Hudl Tickets. This will be a cashless event. All Sales Final. NO REFUNDS FOR RAINOUTS.
It is advised to purchase tickets the night before or day of, after reviewing the weather forecast.

On the men's side, Pitt-Johnstown's Michael Ifidon (100-Meter, 200-Meter, 4x100 Relay) and Cristian Thornton (400-Meter, 4x100 Relay, 4x400-Relay) each qualified in three events, while Abbey-Gale Brooks (100-Meter, 200-Meter, 4x100 Relay, 4x400-Relay) is set to compete in four events, and Mayah Charity (200-Meter, 4x100 Relay, 4x400 Relay) and Alexandra Walton (800-Meter, 4x100 Relay, 4x400 Relay) are qualified in three events on the women's side.

The Shippensburg men's have claimed the last 14 PSAC Outdoor Championships.  Slippery Rock won the 2023 title on the women's side.

In 2023, the Mountain Cat men got a third-place finish from Chris Colligan in the High Jump and a third-place finish from the 4x100-Meter Relay Team to secure all-conference honors and a 12th-place team finish.  Kate Yahner (Pole vault) and Natalie Lippincott (High Jump) each finished third in their respective events to help the women to their best point total since joining the conference.
