Following last year's runner-up finish, Head Coach Cody Trabert and the Pitt-Johnstown men's golf team, ranked second in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Rankings and 60th nationally, will make the trip to Lebanon, Pa. for this weekend's 2025 PSAC Men's Golf Championship at Iron Valley Golf Club looking to take the next step in building the program's history.

The three-day tournament will kick off of Friday and wrap-up on Sunday afternoon.  The nine competing teams will bring six golfers to the tournament.  Five golfers will compete daily and the top four individual scores for each team will be used in the team scoring.

Grayden Laird, Eli Ropietski, Griffin Hansberry, Lucas Smith, and David Razinskas are expected to represent Pitt-Johnstown in this year's championships.  Mauricio Hernandez will be the Mountain Cats' substitute.

Along with Pitt-Johnstown, Bloomsburg, California (PA), Clarion, Gannon, Indiana (PA), Millersville, Shepherd, and West Chester will represent the nine PSAC teams.

In 2024, Gannon claimed its first PSAC Championship, while Pitt-Johnstown finished second and Millersville was third.

The 2025 tournament will feature seven returning golfers that finished in the top 10 at last year's Championship, including Gannon's defending champion Mattia Parrini, who won medalist honors by five strokes in 2024 over teammate Giovanni Delorenzi.

Shepherd's Trey Rios, who finished third in 2024, as well as Smith (Pitt-Johnstown), who placed fifth last fall will be chasing Parrini and Delorenzi.  In addition, IUP's Ben De Castro (T-seventh), California's Chaz Ekoniak (T-seventh), and Gannon's Rasmus Seppanen (T-ninth.) also finished last year's tournament in the top-10.
