Aiden Lechleitner in a field of 154 runner to pace the Mountain Cats to a 13
th-place finish at Saturday's 2025 PSAC Men's Cross Country Championships at the Doug Watts Country Course in Edinboro.
Shippensburg claimed its third straight conference championship with 40 team points, 38 points better than second-place East Stroudsburg.
Mike Formica (Indiana (PA) won individual medalist honors with a time of 24:39.1.
Lechleitner's time of 26:46.9 was good enough to give him a 46
th-place finish for the Mountain Cats.
Brandt Patterson was 95
th at 27:50.5, followed by
Ryan Hayes (120
th, 28:45.3),
Kaden Markovich (135
th, 30:36.5), and
Tyler Harold (146
th, 31:38.3).
Joel Weber and
Gavin Smith placed 147
th and 148
th, respectively, with times of 32:14.1 and 32:26.7.
After Shippensburg and East Stroudsburg, Kutztown (94 points), West Chester (100 points), and Lock Haven (145 points) rounded out the top-5. Pitt-Johnstown 13
th in the 15-team field with 383 points.
The Mountain Cats travel to Lock Haven for the 2025 season finale NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Championships on Saturday.
