Head Coach Eric Kinsey and the Pitt-Johnston men's soccer team will put their 5-1-0 overall record on the line when perennial power Gannon visits the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field for a PSAC West Math on Saturday.  Kick-off is set for noon.
 
The Mountain Cats opened conference-play with a 3-2 home win over California (PA) on Wednesday.  Pau Cano scored a pair of goals and had an assist, and Ryan Kyei Boahen added a goal in the win over the Vulcans.
 
Gannon, under seventh-year Head Coach Billy Colton, kicked-off its PSAC West schedule with a 5-0 home win over Seton Hill on Wednesday to improve to 3-2-2 overall and 1-0-0 in the conference.  Sverre Orten had two goals and an assist, and Rafa Hyde netted a pair of goals against the Griffins.
 
Last season, the Golden Knights earned a 5-0 victory over the Mountain Cats in Erie on Oct. 19, before locking up another 5-0 win in Johnstown on Nov. 8.
 
The Mountain Cats travel to PSAC West matches at Lock Haven on Wednesday and Seton Hill next Saturday, before returning home to host a non-conference match against Chestnut Hill on Oct. 14 at 3 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
