Head Coach Justin Haupt's Pitt-Johnstown women's volleyball team, seeded third in the Western Division, will travel to East No. 2 seeded Shippensburg in Tuesday's quarterfinals of the 2025 PSAC women's Volleyball Championships.  Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at Heiges Field House.
 
The winner advances to take on the winner of the West No. 1 Gannon/East No. 4 West Chester match in Friday's semifinals hosted by the highest remaining seed in the Eastern Division.
 
The 2025 PSAC Tournament champion will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Tournament, Dec. 4-6, hosted by the top-seeded team in the region.
 
Pitt-Johnstown, 16-10 on the year, claimed the No. 3 seed in the Western Division with a 3-0 Senior Day sweep over California (PA), Saturday afternoon in the Sports Center.  Ellie Zuro Cirino finished with a match-high 18 kills, and Caroline Knight added 15 kills for the Mountain Cats.
 
Shippensburg, under Head Coach Leanne Piscotty, earned the No. 2 seed in the Eastern despite suffering losses to East Stroudsburg and Kutztown over the weekend.  Gracen Nutt's 11 kills led the way for the Red Raiders in Saturday's match against Kutztown.
 
Pitt-Johnstown and Shippensburg met at the Frostburg State Tournament earlier this season on Sept. 13 and the Red Raiders came away with a 3-1 victory.  Zuro-Cirino's 22 kills paced the Mountain Cats, while Kayla Johnson had 11 kills and Isabelle Bombas added 10 kills for Shippensburg.
