

Pitt-Johnstown's
Rylee Fry,
Kristen Horgan,
Kaitlyn Pavusek, and
Lydia Roman all on earned spots on the 2025 Division II College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team when this year's recipients were released on Wednesday. Voting was done by the district's sports information directors.
Fry, Horgan, and Pavusek have been named to the team for the second straight year, while Horgan, Pavusek, and Roman secured enough votes to advance to the national ballot for consideration for First, Second, or Third-Team Academic All-America honors, which will be released on Dec. 17.
The CSC recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Fry, a junior forward from Mechanicsburg, Pa. played in 15 matches and made 13 starts for Pitt-Johnstown in 2025. She finished with a pair of goals, two assists, and six points. Fry has a 3.71 GPA in


Early Childhood Education.
Horgan, a native of Pittsburgh, has a 3.71 overall GPA in Biology. The junior forward started all 16 matches and had six shots on goal,
Pavusek, started all 16 matches as a junior defender in 2025. Pavusek, a native of Palmyra, Pa., has a 3.97 overall GPA in Nursing.
A native of Summerhill, Pa., Roman also started all 16 matches for the Mountain Cats and led the team with four assists. Roman has a 3.54 GPA in Mathematics.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
