JOHNSTOWN, PA –Head Coach Tyler Reinhart and the top-10-ranked Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cat wrestling team will travel to Indianapolis for Saturday and Sunday's 46^th annual Midwest Classic.
 
Wresting is scheduled to begin on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. EST at both the Ruth Lilly Center and Nicholson Hall and continue until there are 16 wrestlers remaining each of the 10 brackets.  Sunday's action will also begin at 9:30 a.m.
 
With more than 20 of the 48 teams nationally-ranked, the Midwest Classic is one of Division II's most grueling regular season team tournaments.  Each of the participating teams will have one wrestler in each of the 10 weight classes.
 
The Mountain Cats have eight nationally-ranked wrestlers scheduled to compete, including 2025 NCAA All-Americans and No. 1-ranked Trevon Gray (125 lbs.) and Isaiah Vance (285, lbs.) and National Qualifiers Noah Gnibus (No. 13 at 184 lbs.), Chad Ozias (No. 14/15 at 141 lbs.), and Cooper Warshel (No. 18 at 157 lbs.).  In addition, Matt Sarbo is No. 8/6 at 149 lbs., Brad Morrison is 17^th at 197 lbs., and Trent Hoover is 1^8th at 165 lbs.
 
Also scheduled to compete for Pitt-Johnstown are a pair of standout freshmen in former Michigan State Champion Brady Baker at 133 lbs. and Pennsylvania AAA State Champion Ty Morrison at 174 lbs.
 
Last year, Vance, the 2023 Midwest Classic champion at 285 lbs., placed third, and Gray (125 lbs.) and Warshel (157 lbs.) both came away with eight-place finishes to help the Mountain Cats finish 11^th in the 43-team field.
 
Following the Midwest Classic, Pitt-Johnstown will break for the holiday season, before hosting Findlay on Sunday, Jan. 4 at noon in the Sports Center.
