Noah Ser tied for fourth in the high jump and
Ryan Porch was sixth in the long jump, while
Ava Barker and
Ella Miller finished 14
th and 15
th, respectively in the 800-meter run to lead the Pitt-Johnstown men's and women's track and field team's at Friday's indoor season opening Youngstown State (OH) Icebreaker.
On the men's side, Ser tied for fourth in the jump with Nate Hoffman California (PA) at 1.94 meters, while Porch came away with a sixth-place finish in the long jump at 6.76 meters.
In addition, the Mountain Cats' 400-meter relay team of
Domenion Jacobs,
Austin Yarnick,
Sebastian Roman, and
Nathaniel Thomas placed 10
th at 3.32.19.
On the women's side, Barker and Miller led the way for Pitt-Johnstown. Barker finished 14
th in the 800-meter run at 2:29.95, while Miller placed 15
th at 2:32.55.


Pitt-Johnstown 4-meter relay team of Barker, Miller,
Rihanna Hillegas, and
Paris Etchu placed 18
th at 4:33.71.
Pitt-Johnstown will break for the holiday season, before continue the indoor season at the Heidelberg (OH) Larry Brown Invitational on Jan. 16 and the Tiffin (OH) Jeremy Croy Classic on Jan. 24.
