
Pitt-Johnstown's
Michael Ifidon finished first in both the 60-meter and 200-meter dashes to lead a strong showing for the Mountain Cats at Friday's Susquehanna River Hawk Indoor Track and Field Showdown in Selinsgrove.

Ifidon won the 60-meter at 7.05, while
Nick Legnine finished third (7.08) and
Hunter Johnson finished sixth (7.16).

Ifidon then claimed the 200-meter dash at 22.81, followed by
Marcello Legister in fourth-place at 23.23 and Legnine in fifth-place at 23.24.

In other track events,
Noah Lee was the runner-up in the 800-meter run at 2:04.52, and
Aiden Lechleitner finished second in the Mile Run at 4:30.75.Â
Nathan Mienke (4:36.20) and
Ethan Barrick placed fourth and fifth, respectively in the Mile.

The Mountain Cats also go third and sixth-place finishes from
Cristian Thornton (51.66) and
Damian Blum (53.00) in the 400-meter run, and sixth and ninth-place finishes from
Charlie Banks (17:45.09) and
Ryan Hayes (17:51.41) in the 5,000-meter run.

Pitt-Johnstown's team of
Blake Lauper, Blum,
Noah Lee, and Thornton lock-up first-place in the 4x400-meter relay, and the team of
Charlie Levander,
Sean Kelch, Thomas, and
Marcello Legister placed fourth at 3:45.26.

In the field events,
Noah Ser finished second in the High Jump at 1.89 meters, while
Ryan Porch was the runner-up in the Long Jump (6.92 meters), followed by teammates
Hunter Johnson (3
rd-6.87 meters),
Isaiah Dyer (5
th-6.38 meters), and Thomas (7
th-6.13 meters).

John Yahner (3.90 meters) placed fifth and
Bridger Blankenbicker (1.89 meters) placed seventh in the Pole Vault and Ser was ninth kin the Triple Jump (12.18 meters).

Pitt-Johnstown travels to the Susquehanna Invitational on Feb. 15 and to the Mount Union (OH) Tune-up Meet on Feb. 21.
